Anyone got suggestions on how to set this up to fix the almost 100 fps loss on ryzen processors? I was able to my bdo to high priority but still struggling to even hit 60 fps
Hi
please make sure to check out the other Forum Post with the same problem.

I just had a chat with someone who has a similar issue. I'd suggest you to go to the Reddit guide I posted there and follow some steps. This guide was updated recently after the transfer. If you already did that it would be really helpful to know everything you already changed or tried.
Also could you make a list for the hardware you're using?
Good morning,
I did this same guide when i started playing before the transfer and averaged 150-160fps fullscreen. I followed the guide again and checked if anything changed and updated such, I got a few frames but I'm still averaging 40fps after transfer. Dips down to around 20fps when trying to grind high mob areas.
Specs:
Ryzen 5 2600x
GPU Gtx 1660 super
Ram is gskill ripjaws 8x2 16gb 3200mhz
what do u need more fps for? :innocent look:
Lol just annoying im getting 110 less fps after transfer. If i grind drops down to 20 when using skills so Ive just become a cook now until it gets updated.
I'm convinced this is EAC. While I've had no stuttering in game...while playing it. I have noticed it takes much longer to open programs while the game is running.
Everything just opens so much slower, but only while BDO is running; even TASK MANAGER takes several seconds to load (like 30 seconds or so). I had no trouble multitasking prior to the change is service provider. Like it was literally night and day the second the switch over happened.
CPU: Intel i7-6850K
RAM: 32GB
Yeah well I guess we can hope the game will update and run smooth again, till then I'll be stuck life skilling majority of the time lol
From my testing, disabling SMT in bios will have a superior effect on fps compared to affinity. You should test that.
Thank you, I'll test it out. Desktop is actually factory setting right now with hopes of running normal again.

Disable SMT from BIOS. To set your CPU affinity now with Easy anti-cheat, you can't use Process Lasso. To do this, you need to create a .bat file / script to open the bdo .exe, with the proper affinity assigned to the script that lets your CPU know to disable certain cores when opening BDO. You can figure out your CPU's affinity values using a website on ACanadianDude's Ultimate Performance Guide. Look up the guide on Reddit, or probably Google.
There's other things you can do too, to improve FPS. Disabling those popup notifications helps, as well as disabling the animated headline thingy below your chat box, as well as graphics and other optimization settings like crop mode, disabling anti-aliasing, auto-frame optimization, etc. and other obscure things like using 3D map, not using auto-organize in your inventory and town inventory, and doing a 360 degree jump in the air while holding a pickle with a tin foil hat on.
