This guy in velia inn gives people the exact location of a player on that specific server for 5 energy cost. I think this is just way too easy and can be exploited by players to find someone on the map . Even in nodewars , you have important roles such as cannoners , if there is a guy not attending assigned to find the guy on npc it's game over , because the cannons are very important right now in nws. Also this npc creates a lot of toxic behaviour in bdo ,  it would be nice to reduce the toxicity in this game as much as possible.

My suggestion would be to drastically nerf this npc or might as well remove it (at least during nodewars). The Find player option should have a 30 min cooldown (family wide) and it should cost 50 energy . Also instead of giving the exact location , instead make it a random generated circle where the player is with a radius of 1000-1500 m . This would help a bit , but with people running around on horses and the pet hostiliy detection it will probably still take 2-3 min to find the player .

it's not too drastic tho , right now it's just too easy , they gotta revamp the npc a bit .

And i agree the nodewar thing is just too stupid and can be considered an exploit.

Very much agreed. No reason to nerf him for normal gameplay, but it is overpowered for node wars.

remove npc from nw channels or make it not work on people signed up "YES" for nw during 20-22 pm (nw time)

If you don't like toxicity to be used for or against you. Then you are simply playing the wrong game. BDO is pretty infamous for it's highly toxic community and game mechanics. You brought this on yourself. You only real option is to quit and go play a MMO that is not so toxic.

Good one bro , i give feedback to make the game better and you instead tell me to quit. This is not how feedback works , if there is something wrong with a game and someone says it is then you don't tell him to quit .

This is why PA doesn't fix things around , because there are trolls on these forums .

this npc is in the game since release and never was a problem.  I am myself a main cannoneer and I don't care.

Find a cannoneer is never a issue since anyway its take less that 30 sec with a good T9 horse to do a perfect cercle of 300 in-game range circle radial.

if your opponent are not idiots you will be spotlighted long before your drop your cannon anyway.

Reason why the positioning and actual people to defend the Canon is much more important.

Nothing better than a tree to put a cannon on or impossible spot to reach without jumping equipment.

Knowing your position will never be a significant advantage. Because the job makes sure that you will know it from the first shot anyway.

You extremely overestimate the impact of this npc.
Second part

Toxicity is an integral part of a sandpark mmorpg. it's not negative, it's an important pillar of the game. The toxicity must not be diminished or removed. it must simply be regulated so that it does not exceed the established limits.
It is the conflicting interactions between players that move people, including the world, forward, whether it is IRL or IG. This freedom is fundamental to the principle of the persistence of a virtual world that are suppose to be a full fledged mmorpg.

You have nothing to do on BDO OP, if you are a *sensitive* person.
There is no safe space here. Carebears are not welcome,  stop corrupting our game.

Obviously there are more cannon spots in a single node area , you can't tell me that as a "cannoner" you don't dislike to have  your location revelead and within 30 s someone to be on you . Without the npc and with a good cannon placement , it can take a good while to find you , also if there is someone searching for you on npc , there are less people assigned to find you , so actually more people trying to fight the opponents instead of running around on horses.

That is your point of view on the matter , but i think toxicity is already over the limits in this game .

Also i don't care about myself being found on an npc , i am ready to defend myself . The problem is when there are players that think they are superior and hunt some pve/lifeskill guild or whatever because they can do it so easily. I am giving this feedback based on what i've seen around me , nothing that would make me quit the game but still it's worth to point out some things , because if no one does PA simply doesn't fix/improve anything.
