here is the way to fix this:

So by repeatingly looking into the update.txt file in the blackdesert folder i found each time the list of corrupted files. So i just deleted all these files launched scan files until it fails again then look at the file, delete de corrupted paz, rescan etc.. in loop until it works.. From client version 1518 to 1524 took me a looooooooooooooooooot of time to repeat this process (the patch 1519 was the worst) Note that corrupted files you have deleted will probably come back as corrupted but there will be less of them so eventually you'll reach the end.

Since i was able to play without crash.. (i guess we'll see wednesday if it hold as a fix, i imagine i'll have to go through this process but now seems like i have a methodology to fix it) i'm actually doing manually the work the checksum verificateur should be yeah...

Every wednesday I have the same issue and i'm really get crazy with it..

Everytime there's a maj and the launcher update i have always one of these two problem occuring:

-PAD01148.PAZ corrupted

-pad0000.meta corrupted

I usually endup getting through it by repeatingly deleting the files launching scan files, restarting the launcher and computer and at some point i don't know how but i don't get the error the patch finishes and i can play. But everytime i takes me hours of doing so.. This week we had the usual maintenance wednesday was trying to "solve" it the same way as usual it took me more than 12hours.. And now we had another small patch and the problem is back, I just "solved" it again the same way but once again took me hours.. 

[EDIT: I yeah i forgot, usually i got the initial problem that when i complete the update i launch the game and it crashes before i come to the "start" screen so that is why i first a scan files and get into all these problems... I Just though about it again cause i though i had solve the issue of this friday since finally completed the procces of completing the update but nope run into the crash at launch again.. i'm desesperate e_e..]

I though about several possibilities for the causes but couldn't find, i enable disabled all anti-virus , vpn , firewall it doesn't seems to impact the problem in any way though about internet instabilities but what seems weird is that it is only the patcher of BDO and always the same files.. So i really dunno but it is extremely annoying to go through this weird and painfull process everytime there's a small patch.. I can only hope that someone can bring me a more durable solution and that PA is informed of this problem and looking into it..

Did you try a full reinstall?

Yes after writing this post i did a full re-install of the game, i managed to finish the update but since, i have an even "weirder" bug:

-As soon as i log in on a char the grame crashes(it doesn't even have the time to spawn npc) and this is on every character except one(why?? i dunno e_e) and the only char that doesn't chrash instantly(i dunno if this change something but most of my char are in velia and the one that doesn't crash instantly is at Kzarka) and this one ends up crashing too but after 2-3 min.. it's been 3 full days i only try to fix problem i getting crazy :( usually ever updates are a bit of a pain but this time this is non stop..

I also updated drivers but nothing changes i'm ouf of idea..

Since i couldn't play without having the game crash i decided to try a scan file again which once again broke everything, now can't complete the scan anymore again because of PAD01148.PAZ or pad0000.meta corrupted once again..

So i did a full re-install of the game again... did not worked tried a few more times to scan files still having the same issue of the same files corrupted tried again a full fresh install of the game and nope i'm stucked...

It really pisses me off as i spend all my free time trying to fix these problems and have pearl buff time being wasted and missing attendance rewards because i can't play... and the worst part it is that i know that even if i fix it, It's gonna come back wednesday with the update..

I swear, I am so triggered, can these fu.. can these developers seriously look into this particular fucking issue. Its absolutely fucking insane, how we are gonna have to deal with this issue literally every single week, I really enjoy BDO but I know my limits and how time consuming this is, I geniunely will end up quitting this game Its insane.

NO ITS NOT ON OUR SIDE. 

i'm surprised to see i'm not the only person who is getting paz corruption errors consistently with each patch/update. i've been trying to fix todays patch corruption for 6 hours now and i'm exhausted. deleting the files has worked twice so far with todays errors, but then the game crashed immediately upon launching it so that's barely a success on my end :/

I also have the problem. and the problem appears with each update since the migration at PA. i found a way to play but i don't understand what's going on. I tried to reinstall it at least 10 times it ended up working but I don't know why. I tried to clear the caches. deleted all BDO related files. I made a ticket and the support sent me for a walk, closing the ticket and telling me that I had arrived at me connected

My list is even bigger. Still waiting to replace those files. WTF?????? Cant enter the game after I just loged out. You seriuous???
