As you can see on the attached screenshot below, for some reason I am seen the enchantment fails/success and people's cook level.
Those people are not from my guild, they are global.
As you can see the chat settings should indicate that I do not see those values, but yet I see them.
Before I get attacked by "Go to Settings > General Settings > Alerts" , yes I have gone there and disabled all things and I still see those notifications every single day.
At this point is a futures that PA decide to ignore, its like 3 month into game and they not going to fix it.
Yeah it bugged since years, and it was reported (multiple times)since years, but so far they didn't even cared enough to put it into the known bugs, so yeah...

Turn off all system messages and it will go away. If you have any of the system options checked and you generate no new messages it always fills up with this unwanted drap
The laughable thing of that is that if the code designed by the developers is smart enough the fix only requires two typographic bars.
Example:
- Search in the script editor for entries like:
- Bug solved, a one that is already recurring since years... |
And as my opinion, nobody want to know that other people that don't even know. fail or success in an enhance.
This is information of no interest to the players themselves.
This text is sended to everyone in the server so, forcefully sending information back and forward indiscriminately that generate uneccesary traffic.
A bad move by a developer that maybe want to use it for logs but not for a game already released.
This traffic can be lowered generating less lag and maybe giving a better performance.

Well PA know to use the cheapest devs they can find on the market, and the quality they produce is well, you can see... one of the lowest on the market.
And yes, their code look like sphagetti, anyone can check the UI scripts atleast, it's so bad I don't know whether I should be amazed or laught on that. No wonder why they don't bother, no developer want to touch that...
Althrough what you wrote is only partly true.
It's true that they generate loot of unnecessary trafic, they are inexperienced in mmo's, and that's very clearly visible in the whole game, and they everyone is liek why do thsi game is so porly optimized??? LMAO, I wonder...
But fixing that wouldn't be like how you descriped it. That would be a bad quality fix. (though it would be pretty PA like).
Even currently they only display the relevant informations (as long there are relevant ones in the buffer). They shoudl simply throw away the filtered out messeages, instead of just puting the relevant into the front of the buffer.
This has been here forever for the same reason this fkn notifications even exist. Manipulation. You are not supposed to turn them off.
I think the Korean ppl are so used to spam that they just dont see or relate to the many issues ppl have voiced about spam/pop-ups in BDO.
It simply cant be an issue of lazy devs because the spam and pop-ups had to be created in the first place which take dev hours to do.
Monetary reasons? Maybe.
This chat-filter bug have been there for years now, I believe since Remastered was launched.
No, the chat filter bug has been a problem since before Remastered was launched. No matter how many times it's brought up in the forums, PA doesn't seem to either notice or care enough to address it.
I got so sick of it that I turned my chat windows off. Outside of notices, party/guild chat and item pickups, everything else was merely spam.
