It's been like 5 years or something now. We need player trading. I am tried of the spending hours enhancing and grinding and dropping serious cash on trying to get stuff when I can trade my friends who are either ready to move on from the game or other players who no longer have a desire to keep their items.
I get that BDO wants us to be competitive and spend money and time, etc, but at a certain point, I'm over all that and I just want to be able to gear up without any hassles, do some end game stuff and chill. The worst part about this game is the enhancement system. It's sadly the only way for gear progression and it's not easy at all.
So either make gear progression easier such as easier to loot items, easy to obtain end gear etc. or allow player trading
Thanks.
From a big fan of BDO who wants to be able to be competitive but not have to sacrifice my entire time for gear progress attempts.
Nah, koreans don't believe in the free market.
kill progression. suppress the very interest of a real mmorpg.
Very good idea...
No.
the only thing that trading does is to make absolutely everyone Gold sellers. like on AA, Eve online and so on.
BDO is the only one that has taken the initiative in the face of this reality. This is one aspect that makes BDO unique.

What if I roleplay a trader who want to help other adventurer get their shit?
pro tip: you don't even know what do you talk about. Noone sells gold in eve, there is no gold, and you can just buy ingame money from PA just like in bdo...

You basically summed it up

If a game's currency were Quesenarts, Quidbobles, Gockalarks, Fugality Pigdges or anything else, the people selling in game currency would still be called gold sellers.

Nice reading skill you got there...
I expect that PA limits trading between players the way that they do in order to impede real money trading. If you can give a player whatever you want from your inventory, it becomes trivial to arrange to pay another player real money for gear. Instead, PA just handles it all via the central market, and if you don't want to deal with their terrible enhancement system, you buy gear from the CM. It also serves as a way to drain silver from the game via the market taxes (thus forcing players to do more to earn silver) and to encourage players to buy value packs (which is of course more income for PA). So, while PA may very well make changes of some kind to how all of that works, I'd be very surprised if they made it so that you could give anything of value to other players.
Lmao how can you even be so brave to even think and type that.
While I agree free trade would be nice, RMTers have to ruin everything, like usual. Some people are jsut so lazy, or so obsessed with being on top, they pour thousands or even 10s of thousands of dollars into the game in order to get crons just to gamble for their gear. Imagine how many more would do it if they could buy the silver to get their gear, or buy the gear outright? Imagine how much worse the hacker/botter problem would get too, now that there is fresh incentive to do so.
