We have discovered an issue where the game client may unexpectedly close for certain Adventurers playing on the Steam platform. If you are experiencing this issue, please follow the steps below:
Clear Download Cache on Steam
Verify Integrity of Game Files on Steam
From the [Library] panel, right-click the game and click [Properties] from the pop-up. Select [Local Files] on the left-hand side of the menu and click [Verify Integrity of Game Files]. Steam will then take a few minutes to verify the game’s files.
Scan Files on the Black Desert Launcher
On the Black Desert game launcher, click [Scan Files] on the bottom right of the client to perform a scan of the game’s files.
