The “Apply for Game Data Transfer” program that began in January has come to an end on May 31, 2021 (Mon) 23:59 (UTC).
Once again, we, at Pearl Abyss, want to thank all our Adventurers for the support you’ve given us since we began the direct service of Black Desert Online.
Now that the game data transfer period has come to an end, we ask our Adventurers to take note of the following information.
■ Special Gifts for New Adventurers
Unfortunately, Adventurers who did not transfer their game data within the game data transfer period will need to create a new account and start a fresh adventure in Black Desert Online.
However, we’ve prepared special gifts to help both our Adventurers who did not transfer their game data and new Adventurers who started during the game data transfer period but did not receive the transfer rewards.
- New Adventurers who signed up between March 24, 2021 (Wed) after maintenance – May 31, 2021 (Mon) 23:59 (UTC) will receive the [New Adventurer] Black Spirit's Thank You Bundle in their in-game mailbox (B) during the maintenance on June 8, 2021 (Tue).
* Note: Adventurers who have already received the transfer rewards by contacting Customer Support after creating a new Family will be excluded.
- Adventurers who sign up for the first time after the end of the game data transfer period on May 31, 2021 (Mon) 23:59 (UTC) will be able to obtain a special reward from the Challenge (Y) menu after the maintenance on June 8, 2021 (Tue). More details will be announced on the official Black Desert website at a later date.
■ Availability of Deleted Family/Character/Guild Names
Since all accounts that were not transferred before the end of the game data transfer period have been deleted, the deleted Family/Character/Guild names will become available to use after the maintenance on June 8, 2021 (Tue).
Thus, you will be able to use the Family/Character/Guild names of all deleted accounts after the maintenance on June 8, 2021 (Tue).
▲ Right-click a Family/Character/Guild Name Change Coupon and use the “Check Name” feature to see if the name you want is available.
