Not only are the empowered World Bosses making more likely to appear during the event, but you’ll also be able to obtain Old Moon Boss Seals from defeating Field/World Bosses!

Event 1. World Boss Half-and-Half

Event Period

- November 24, 2021 (Wed) after maintenance – December 15, 2021 (Wed) before maintenance

Event Details

- During the event, the appearance rates of the “Empowered World Bosses” and “Normal World Bosses” will be 50% each.

* The Empowered World Bosses are incredibly powerful and have many different attack patterns. As the empowered nature suggests, you can get more valuable loot by defeating them, so make sure not to miss them!

Tips to Defeating the World Bosses!

1. The World Bosses appear in specific locations, and anyone can join the battle against them. You can see their spawn locations and appearance times below.

- You can also view the World Boss raid times in-game from “BDO Wiki (F1) → “World Boss Raid.”

- You will not be able to find see your location on the map at Vell and Nouver’s appearance locations (Vell’s Realm and Great Desert respectively). If you’re unfamiliar with how to reach the appearance locations, you can use a compass to easily find your way.

2. Before you head off to the fight a World Boss, make sure you have sufficient AP/DP on your gear!

3. Stay on your toes when battling a World Boss! If you die to a World Boss, you’ll receive a death penalty!

4. World Bosses disappear if they aren’t defeated within 30 minutes after appearing.

- The HP of a World Boss is shared across all servers. Don’t worry if you don’t see your fellow Adventurers, you’re still fighting alongside them!

5. Once a World Boss is defeated, Adventurers will be given loot depending on several criteria, one of which is the “amount of damage dealt.” However, the “amount of damage dealt” is just one of the criteria, so you can still get the rarest items if you’re lucky.

- The “empowered” versions of the World Bosses require you to deal 0.01% of their HP (shared HP across all servers) as damage to obtain loot.

Event 2. Looting Boss Gear

* The World Bosses will not appear on the Season Arsha, Arsha, and Olvia servers.

* When you defeat Vell during the event, you will get either Vell Reward Bundle (Advanced) or Vell Reward Bundle (Intermediate) depending on your battle contribution.

* The amount of Intact Nouver's Reverse Scale and Bloodlit Eye of the Desert you can obtain will be doubled, and their item drop rates will be unchanged.

Event 3. Old Moon Boss Seal

Event Period

- November 24, 2021 (Wed) after maintenance – December 15, 2021 (Wed) before maintenance

Event Details

① Defeat World/Field Bosses (excluding Vell) during the event to be 100% guaranteed to obtain [Event] Old Moon Boss Seal.

* You cannot obtain [Event] Old Moon Boss Seal by defeating Vell, the Heart of the Ocean or Katzvariak.
