❖ The First Tale ❖
Tale of Imoogi
~The Giant Serpent who Dreamt of Becoming a Dragon~

Long ago, there was a giant serpent called Imoogi.

Imoogi underwent 1,000 years of training to become a Dragon
and began to ascend to heaven using the power of the Dragon Orb.

However, while ascending, a passing monk exclaimed,
"Look! Up in the sky! It’s a giant flying serpent!"

Because the first Human it encountered called it a "serpent" instead of a "Dragon," Imoogi had to start its 1,000 years of training all over again.

Shocked, Imoogi plummeted back to the ground.

Due to the monk's single remark, Imoogi's 1,000 years of effort were in vain, and it began to harbor hatred towards Humans.

It turned into a powerful yogwe, bringing much disaster to Humans.
