After accepting the "[Event] Prep for Ice Fishing" quest from Abelin in Velia, [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rods x30 and directions to the ice fishing location can be obtained by talking to him!

* The "[Event] Prep for Ice Fishing" quest can be accepted and completed once per family. This quest counts towards the completion of Rulupee's Travels
* [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod can be purchased from Abelin at the Serene Spring for 10,000 Silver each.
* Auto-navigation to the Serene Spring will be activated when [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod is used.

Accept the quest "[Event] Crio's Taste" from Crio who can be found next to Abelin at the Serene Spring, and hand over x1 “[Event] Fatty Icy Smelt” and get Memory Fragment x30!
* Crio will stay on each server for 60 min and then return after 40 to 60 min.

How to Ice Fish!
(1) At the Serene Spring, right-click the [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod from your Inventory (I) to start ice fishing.
▲ Pay attention to the direction of the arrow and rotate your mouse.
(2) Once you get a bite, try to successfully complete the minigame!
(3) The minigame will last up to 30 seconds, and your goal is to keep the fish in the blue gauge until its endurance runs out. Once the fish is all tuckered out, you’ll be able to catch the fish with your spacebar!
▲ Rotate Mouse (Left): Reel in the line and bring the fish closer to the surface.
▲ Rotate Mouse (Right): Slacken the line and allow the fish to move away from the surface.
