What is Item Copy?
It lets you copy the items of a “main” character to a tagged character, allowing you to try out the desired class with your main character’s gear!

Item Copy allows you to copy the items of a “main” character to a tagged character.
You can use this feature to try out your main character’s gears on a different class
and experience new adventures in Black Desert world!

- Tag Characters
In order to use “Item Copy,” you must first set up a character tag and complete a questline.

▲ The two characters that will be tagged together must be located in the same city/town!
▲ Afterward, click the “Character Tag” button at the top-left of the in-game screen.

* Important notes for character tagging
- Tagged characters follow each other like shadows and share locations.
But, if you enable "Travel Separately," they can move independently.
- Tagged characters can't handle trade items- Both characters need to be at least Lv. 7. - When one tagged character gains EXP, the other gets the same amount of EXP

- Complete [Marni's Suspicious Device] A Splendid Deal
- After tagging your characters, complete the [Marni's Suspicious Device] A Splendid Deal questline from the Black Spirit to transfer items.
* You can accept this quest from the Black Spirit with a character that is Lv. 56 or higher.
Once you fulfill both requirements, you’ll be able to see the “Item Copy” button.
In order to copy items, you need Marni's Unstable Fuel.
Marni's Unstable Fuel can be purchased from the Old Moon Manager NPC in each major city/town for 10,000,000 Silver.

- The original items and copied items cannot be stored in Storage or registered on the Central Market.
- Adventurers enjoying life content across multiple characters by using storage or maids are advised to unequip items from the tool slot before transferring.
- The original items and copied items cannot be stored in Storage or registered on the Central Market.
