Hello Adventurers!

Now that the Summer Season is here, we’re sure many of our Adventurers have tons of questions about this season, so we’ve prepared this FAQ to answer some of them!

* This GM Note will be continuously updated with new questions/answers and patch information.

Something is weird about the main questline! I was doing quests in Balenos and now it suddenly takes me to Valencia!

This is caused by the Simplified Main Questline, which is selected by accepting the quest, [Special Growth] Birth of a Prestigious Family, from the NPC Alustin in Velia after completing the quest, The Sage of Velia, with a season character.

* You won’t be able to do the normal main questline if you progress through the simplified version, so make sure to decide which version you wish to progress before you complete the quest, [Special Growth] Birth of a Prestigious Family!

* The Season Pass rewards for the main questline can all be obtained regardless of the version you select.

* The simplified main questline replaces the existing main questlines of Serendia, Calpheon, and Mediah.

* The ‘Main Quest’ window at the right side of the in-game screen will also be changed for the simplified main questline.

You can think of the simplified main questline as a shortcut. By completing all 14 simplified quests, your character will end up at around the same state as if you completed the Mediah main questline. Just like completing the normal main questline, you’ll also receive all the same items you need, such as Inventory Slot Expansion Coupons, Naru Gear, etc., by completing the 14 simplified quests!

TIP! You don’t have to progress through the main questline to level up your character!

You can also defeat monsters to get the Combat EXP you need. Just open your World Map (M) and look for an appropriate Monster Zone to level up. Try inviting a guild member or friend to help you defeat monsters even faster!

And what if you don’t want to spend time defeating monsters? You can also get Combat EXP from sub-quests and repeat quests in each region!

Can I go back to the normal main questline by forfeiting the simplified questline?

If your character has accepted and completed the first simplified quest, [Special Growth] Birth of a Prestigious Family, you will not be able to return to the original main questline even if you forfeit the simplified main questline. However, if you have only accepted the quest, [Special Growth] Birth of a Prestigious Family, and haven’t completed it yet, you can forfeit this quest to return to the original main questline.

On the other hand, if you’ve already completed [Special Growth] Birth of a Prestigious Family but no longer wish to progress through the simplified main questline, you will need to create a new season character to progress through the original main questline. If you do plan on deleting your season character, be aware that your season character’s items will also be deleted!

What kind of item is Fughar's Memorandum? I might’ve accidentally deleted it...

Fughar's Memorandum is an important quest item that you need to progress through the simplified main questline. You’ll receive Fughar's Memorandum as you progress, and you need to use it to go the next quest! If you’ve accidentally deleted it, you can talk to the Black Spirit (,) to receive it again.

Why can’t I clear the Season Pass Challenges?

Adventurers who select the simplified main questline will need to talk to the Black Spirit after completing Fughar's Memorandum questline to clear some of the Season Pass Challenges.

How do I exchange PEN (V) Naru Gear for Tuvala Gear?

Since there are two cases for being able to exchange PEN (V) Naru Gear for Tuvala Gear, let us explain both below.

Original Main Questline

Once you complete the entire Mediah main questline, you’ll be able to exchange PEN (V) Naru Gear for PRI (I) Tuvala Gear with the NPC Fughar.

Simplified Main Questline

Once you complete [Special Growth] Fughar's Memorandum - Chapter 8, you’ll be able to exchange PEN (V) Naru Gear for PRI (I) Tuvala Gear with the NPC Fughar.

If I want to recreate a Season Character, is it okay if I delete my current one?

If you want to recreate your season character, try using Fughar’s Timepiece! By using Fughar’s Timepiece, you can transfer your existing season character’s gear and levels to a character that is level 25 or below! (However, your quest progress won’t be transferred!)

There is one important caveat though, if your original season character was going through or completed the simplified main questline, your new season character will not be able to progress through the simplified main questline, as this questline is limited to once per Family.

Wait. You’re saying you’ve already used Fughar’s Timepiece, yet you want to change your season character to another class? Unfortunately, you’ll need to delete your season character and create a new one, but be warned that deleting a character means that all its items are deleted as well!

I'm in the original main questline, but I want to do the simplified main questline!

If you haven’t completed the final quest of the Balenos region, Embarking on an Adventure, you can accept the quest, [Special Growth] Birth of a Prestigious Family, from the NPC Alustin to begin the simplified main questline.

However, if you’ve already completed Embarking on an Adventure, you will no longer be able to select the simplified main questline.

I need more Beginner Black Stones...

While you can get the Beginner Black Stones, which are used to enhance Naru Gear, from the main questline, there are other ways to get them as well!

The Leveling Aid Boxes for level 40 to 55 contains Beginner Black Stones for you to obtain.

You can heat the Black Stones you obtain by defeating monsters or completing events/quests to get Beginner Black Stones!

- From the Processing window (L), select Heating and process Black Stone (Armor) x3 to get Beginner Black Stone (Armor) x1.
- From the Processing window (L), select Heating and process Black Stone (Armor) x30 and Black Stone Powder x1 to get Beginner Black Stone (Armor) x10.
- From the Processing window (L), select Heating and process Black Stone (Weapon) x3 to get Beginner Black Stone (Weapon) x1.
- From the Processing window (L), select Heating and process Black Stone (Weapon) x30 and Black Stone Powder x1 to get Beginner Black Stone (Weapon) x10.

Redeem the special 2021-SEAS-ONIS-HERE coupon code to receive Beginner Black Stone (Weapon) x1000 and Beginner Black Stone (Armor) x1000!
