Greetings Adventurers,

As announced in the “Black Desert, What’s Changing – Part 4. Adventure Support” GM Note on February 19, we’ll be improving the Value Pack buff and revamping the Loyalties Shop during the maintenance on March 3rd. 

Before we announce the full details, we’d like to let you know what we’re considering and what direction we decided for the revamp.

For the Value Pack, its current buff in the NA/EU servers was determined according to the pace content was consumed at the time the Value Pack was first introduced. As a result, its EXP increase effect was set for content from 5 years ago. And as the in-game content continued to expand over several updates, we now hope for the Value Pack to become a little more valuable to our Adventurers.

Taking all this into consideration, we decided to increase the Combat/Skill/Life/Mount EXP buff from +10% to +30%. Something else that has been frequently asked about is the Item Collection Increase Scroll, and so, we’re buffing the Value Pack effect to allow Adventurers to receive an Item Collection Increase Scroll (60 min) from a daily Challenge.

Our Loyalties Shop revamp was also started with similar considerations. While the items currently available in the Loyalties Shop are meant to be helpful, we’ve determined that the shop needs consistent updates to meet the needs of our Adventurers and match the speed of content updates. Beyond just simply changing the items available in the Loyalties Shop, we’re planning to present a type of “special items” that we can rotate for certain periods of time to better match the in-game economy and support a broader range of Adventurers more quickly.  

Along with the Loyalties Shop being revamped to match the current state of the game, we’re also adjusting the number of Loyalties you receive from the daily login Challenge to 200 to make the revamped shop as accessible as possible.

■ Value Pack Buff (Coming March 3)

Along with a buff to the Value Pack effect, we’re also adjusting the bonus item(s) for purchasing a Value Pack (30 Days) or Value Pack (90 Days).

- The Elion's Blessings included as a bonus to the Value Pack (30 Days/90 Days) are only obtained when opening an unused Value Pack.

- The Item Collection Increase Scrolls (60 min) and Valks' Cry for the Value Pack (90 Days) are obtained immediately upon purchase from the Pearl Shop.

■ Increased Loyalties from Challenge (Coming March 3)

All Adventurers who play Black Desert will be able to get 200 Loyalties from Challenge every day. 

■ Loyalties Shop Revamp (Coming March 3)

We’re planning to bring you useful items including items you need for enhancement, defeating monsters, Life Skills, and other content.

- The [Venia] Merv's Repair Tool and the [Da-Dum-Da-Dum] Merv's Repair Tool allow you to re-package the respective costume which can then be opened with your desired class.  

*The price of the items that will continue to be available may be adjusted to match the current in-game economy.  

■ Special Items in Loyalties Shop (Coming March 3)

You’ll soon be able to get some of the special items that are rare, difficult to acquire after a certain amount of time, etc. However, we’ll be setting this up in a way that won’t excessively impact the in-game content or balance.

* Purchase limitations such as quantity will be announced in a future notice.
