So i have a level 58 Sorc which i have had since the game launched.

She has a ton of costumes, maxed out inventory weight and space as well as other extras from shop!

Gear wise, nothing special mainly PRI armor and a TRI Liverto weapon.

Its been suggested that its quicker now to just re-roll the sorc as a Season charachter and have a higher level and betetr gear within a day or two for a lot less hassle!

well.. that sucks

Whats everyones thoughts on what I should do?

I have a token for transfering EXP

So was thinking I could make a new Sorc, - gear it up with my current armor and weapons...

get it to level 65 and then transfer to my original Sorc, would that work? 

Feels like all the hard work has just been wasted as the "gaping hole" pushes me for more Pearls.

You can do the MQ till you qualify for narc gear on another char.

Narc gear comes in a Box, you can put that in your storage and open that box on your old sorc to get the gear on her.

It's maybe 4-7h of gaming depending on your pace to get that. defnitily not worth dumping your old sorc for. :)

There is a quest to 61 guide out as well, so you dont even need to grind that hard to get 61.

Season should be seen as an opportunity to launch yourself into orbit and get the gear and benefits that come with a special event. 

Don't whine and lick your wounds about old characters.

I hard disagree, you are already 58, go equip the oasis gear start collecting boss pieces and get them to tri while also collecting cron stones. The game lately hands out advice of valks like candy, so get the proper failstacks and just slam tri to tet with cronstones. If you are sitting on tons of arti's maybe take some risky rolls if you really want(don't reccomend).   For leveling just start farming inf potion.  At level 60 go do Chenga Tome Storyline and then use the book to do all the 60-61 quests near stars end.    Grind Narv stepps to 62  Equip Capolla accessories.  Assess your priorities from there.  Farm highest zone and just try to keep saving.   

I'm probably wrong on this, but I would just sell Caphra stones until you are END END game, they seem to be very unreasonable benefit to  mid and early endgame players.  Unless you just need maybe a few points of AP for that next AP bracket. 

Seasonal give a huge crazy boost towards goals, the accessibility is healthier in the long run for the game.   Seasonal full PEN got me barely to Stars-end grind.   you would be equal to about roughly tet.  OG route wise, It feels more meangingful,  boss gear is way better, Tungred accessories help my blackspirit gauge,   I get to use evasion pieces which arguebly are better imo.  Even if you have all the seasonal gear it wont change the fact some classes will want a kutum and nouver PEN offhand too, so there is that. 

I will say that doing seasonal still has some worth, but you don't need to do it on sorc,  the reason is that you will boost your overall family level giving you more silver per day.  By the end of season if you get any of the pieces to PEN you can convert it to a boss Tet piece.( Im not sure if you can enchance it, i forgot.  but I know you cant sell it to market so choose wisely)  I think you can get exchange couposn so you could even get yourself a TET mainhand for your sorc main.   You also can convert the gear for normal use and place it on your sorc instead of using oaisis.

I guess with all this being said, what are your endgame goals?  PVP,  just hitting 65?  Getting BIS?

pretty simple, season purposes are 3:

-Gear

-Level

-Skill points

this season is crazy easy, you can max gear in like 3 days if you know what you are doing that would save you like 30 bill or more and allow you to be a full TET player (technically speaking) with around 245 AP, you can ofc transfer all that gear to you old character

Level is irrelevant now, you can just leech mirumok until you hit your desired level

Skill points are the problem here, season gives you a ton of them (around 1100) if you have a number close to that then just totally keep you old character, if not i would still keep your old character but you gonna have to spend few hrs grinding fadus for fast skill points. (use the 530% skill exp scrolls from loyalty shop)

so totally do season AND keep your old character

If you love Sorc that much and have no interest in playing any other toons in BDO keep the one you have. Otherwise, I would turn every last one of those costumes into Crons (You're gonna do it end game anyways depending on how good or bad your RNG is). Reroll a totally new Sorc on seasons with a seasonal pass, level her up, and work on getting all-pen Tuvala gear on the seasonal while it's going on meaning that you will have to find a good grind spot to get good cheap enhancing materials.

Hit level 61 on the Sorc then make a Corsair level 25 on the normal server and use Fughar's timepiece to transfer them levels on her and get the rewards.

At some point, you might want to get the current 58 Sorc you have to 60-61 but I would honestly use her as a storage bin and level up another one.
