Tutorial: Dark Eye Colours
Hello, this was originally my tutorial, which I made in 2016, on the first and second forum under my old alias Makao.
I sadly couldn't get the old pictures back because I couldn't access any of the old forums anymore.
Thanks for checking out my guide and feel free to leave any suggestions and don't be shy to show off your creations as well in the comments. :)
(Note that the end results might look a bit different depending on the class you play, all the example pictures below are made on a Nova.
Dark Brown:
Step 1, the iris:
For these eyes I used a Black colored Iris and Light Brown Lens.
Use the first Iris, color: black, with 100 opacity, 80 Area.
Step 2, the lens:
After you made your iris, scroll down in the Lens section and look for the Second Last Lens.
Use in the first row the 8th color (Light Brown),
Set its Opacity at 30
Step 3, finished eyes and tuning:
Your characters eyes should look something like this after the first 2 steps:
If its too dark/light (which happens with some classes) try turning the opacity of the Iris up or down.
Do you feel it's too gray or too orange? Try changing the opacity higher/lower of the Lens to your liking.
Here is an example with Iris opacity set at 83:
Deep Blue:
Step 1, the iris:
For these eyes I used a Blue colored Iris and Black Lens.
Use the first Iris, color: blue (second row last blue), with 100 opacity, 100 Area.
Step 2, the lens:
After you made your iris, select Lens section and look for the Second First Lens.
Use in the first row the 1st color (Black),
Set its Opacity at 30
Step 3, finished eyes and tuning:
Your characters eyes should look something like this after the first 2 steps:
If the blue is too dark, try turning down the opacity slightly of the Iris,
if you feel the Lens is too dark/bright, try changing the opacity for the Lens up or down.
Here is an example with Iris opacity set at 83:
Blood Red:
Step1, The Iris:
For these eyes I used a Black colored Iris and Red Lens.
Use the first Iris, color: black, with 100 opacity, 50 Area.
Step 2, The Lens:
After you made your iris, scroll down in the Lens section and look for the Second Last Lens.
Use in the second row the last color (Red),
Set its Opacity at 100
Step 3, finished eyes and tuning:
Your characters eyes should look something like this after the first 2 steps:
If it's too dark/light change the area settings of the iris.
Here is an example with Iris opacity set at 83:
Dark Emerald:
Step1, The Iris:
For these eyes I used a Dark Blue colored Iris and Light Green Lens.
Use the first Iris, color: Dark Blue, with 91 opacity, 61 Area.
Step 2, The Lens:
After you made your iris, select the Lens section and look for the Last Lens in the Second Row.
For the color pick the 5th color of the last row (soap green)
Set its Opacity at 100
Step 3, finished eyes and tuning:
Your characters eyes should look something like this after the first 2 steps:
If you think the eyes are too dark/light try tweaking the opacity and area a bit to your liking.
If you feel that your character's eyes aren't green enough you could try changing the lens to the second last one
You should get this as end result:
I remembered that I had more eye styles on my tutorial, but I can't find my post back from the 2nd forum, so I will remake them on a later date and add them here.
If anyone has any suggestions on making my post a bit more readable/more organised please let me know, I used to have the steps hidden under a button but it seems the forums here don't have that option sadly. :(
Bump :>
