In the Black Desert audio studio, we've tailormade music specifically for the Land of the Morning Light - Seoul aiming to authentically capture the historical backdrop of Seoul. This includes traditional Korean court music and classical sounds for adventurers to enjoy in-game.
We have focused on enhancing our adventurers’ immersion in the Land of the Morning Light: Seoul. By directing cutscenes to capture the unique atmosphere of classic tales and perfecting audio mixing for effective sound delivery, we aim to bring the story to life like never before.
We also had the honor of collaborating with the National Gugak Center's Contemporary Gugak Orchestra to deliver the highest quality music to our adventurers.

City of the Noble | XI. Land of the Morning Light | Black Desert OST
The royal court of the Joseon dynasty is brought to life as game music with a classical twist, allowing players a true taste of the rich cultural heritage of Seoul, the “City of the Noble.”
To perfectly recreate the historical backdrop of Seoul, Pearl Abyss's audio studio collaborated with the National Gugak Center's Contemporary Gugak Orchestra. This music features a harmony of traditional Korean instruments like the taepyeongso, sogeum, daegeum, and gayageum.
Throne of Bonghwang | XI. Land of the Morning Light | Black Desert OST
The Bonghwang, a mythical creature of stately dignity, is said to appear during times of peace. Legends say it resides on Mount Ahshi.

The main theme of Land of the Morning Light - Seoul, "Dawn Upon a New Sky," was prepared through an official collaboration between Pearl Abyss's audio studio and the National Gugak Center's Contemporary Gugak Orchestra, to authentically portray the historical backdrop of the fortress of Seoul.
Just listening to this song paints a picture of the Joseon dynasty. Lose yourself on a journey to Morning Light - Seoul with this music!
