Orzekea - 5-Person Co-op Mode

The final chapter of Atoraxxion, after Vahmalkea, Sycrakea, and Yolunakea, is here. The 5-player co-op battle with the final boss in Orzekea is now unveiled. Adventurers who have already delved into the rich narratives of Atoraxxion through the suggested quests in Orzekea may be awestruck. We hope you experience renewed excitement in your journey through this battle with the final boss.
 
As mentioned before, this Orzekea final boss combat does not require the process of acquiring items to enter each zone. Adventurers can directly challenge the boss by defeating Cathawen, who guards the path to the final encounter.
 
Prepare yourselves, as the last boss of Atoraxxion intends to defend their grounds against you. We invite all Adventurers to prove their wisdom and courage in the newly revealed final chapter of Atoraxxion, in the climactic showdown against Orzekea's boss.
  • Follow Orze's traces and clues deep into the stronghold in Orzekea, and a powerful boss will be waiting for you at the end.
    • Once you've faced off against Cathawen, the guardian of the stronghold, in Orze's Garden and obtained the Holy Devotee's Dagger, you're ready to challenge the final boss.

[Shai & Nova]

Shai's "Over Here! Hide!" and Nova's "Winter's Bulwark" have been widely used in Node/Conquest Wars to block enemy attacks on forts or annex buildings, often creating scenarios where opponents cannot hit these structures. While this strategy was a viable option, it sometimes led to forts or gates becoming invincible, causing Node/Conquest War duration to be extended based solely on a single skill rather than the guild's overall strength. This often left Adventurers playing Shai and Nova stuck in specific roles.
 
Given the current situation, these skills have become essential rather than strategic options in Node/Conquest Wars. Therefore, during this balance update period, we've decided to change the way these two skills are utilized.

Red Battlefield

The Red Battlefield, which has accompanied Adventurers for a long time, is undergoing improvements. The most significant change is the addition of a matchmaking system. Previously, Adventurers had to enter the battlefield directly and wait for others to join. Now, you can "Request Match," and once the required number of participants is reached, the match will start automatically.
 
This new system operates similarly to the matching in the Arena of Solare. Additionally, we have addressed one of the less favorable aspects of the old Red Battlefield, such as "abandoning the battlefield," by intensifying penalties for such actions. This aims to minimize concerns for Adventurers, allowing for a more enjoyable experience. Furthermore, the damage reduction effects activated at low HP during combat and the Max HP increase upon entry are removed, ensuring that battles rely solely on your character's stats.
 
However, with the new matchmaking system, the Red Battlefield will initially operate with only the "Castle Ruins" map. While many prefer Valencia City, this decision aims to stabilize and focus on the new system. We ask for your understanding, and promise that we will continue to introduce new maps, including Valencia City, in the near future.
  • Added a new matchmaking system to the Red Battlefield.
    • You can join a match for each battlefield, and once enough players sign up, you'll be able to enter the room.
    • While waiting for a match in the Red Battlefield, you can't use the following items:
      • Traveler's Map, Archaeologist's Map, Lafi Bedmountain's Upgraded Telescope, Lafi Bedmountain's Upgraded Compass
    • With the new matching system, if you leave the battlefield or stay idle for too long, you'll get a penalty that stops you from joining matches for a while.

      • If you don't move after entering the battlefield, you'll get warnings. Keep ignoring them, and you'll get a penalty. Stay idle for too long, and penalties stack up, raising your penalty level.

Last November, the first regular season of Guild League concluded, providing a moment for reorganization. Now, the new season is set to welcome Adventurers once again. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the Adventurers who elevated their guild's valor and offered various insights for improvements during the first regular season.
 
Throughout the last season, we noticed that some Adventurers wanted to participate in the Guild League but found it challenging due to the pressure to win. To address this, we've prepared for the new regular season in a way that allows more Adventurers to participate without feeling burdened.
 
Adventurers can now be matched into different groups depending on their goals—whether they aim for higher Guild League scores based on skill or simply wish to enjoy the content without the pressure. Additionally, rewards based on match outcomes have been enhanced compared to the previous season. Regardless of which group you participate in, all participants will equally enjoy the joy of the content and the rewards.
  • Started a new season of the Guild League.

  • Added three matching groups to the Guild League so you can request matches all at once.
    • The groups are Guild Defender, Defender Unit I, and Defender Unit II.      
    • Guild League Points only change based on Guild Defender match results.
    • Guild Defenders get matched with each other first.  
    • Defender Units I and II can pair up without any set order.
    • If there are no opponents, Guild Defender can be matched up with Defender Units I or II.
      • In this case, only Guild Defender results affect the league points, while Defender Units I and II results do not.
 
  • Added new rules for applying to Guild League matches based on the groups.
    • Guild Defender: Apply when 7 or more guild members are online.

How to Participate

◆ Pick a group (Guild Defender/Defender Unit I/Defender Unit II) in the Guild Window (G) - Guild League menu and then press the "Apply" button.
◆ Pick a group (Guild Defender/Defender Unit I/Defender Unit II) in the ESC (Menu) - War (F7) - Guild League menu and then press the "Apply" button.
Application Period
◆ Weekdays from 5 PM to 1 AM, Weekends from 1 PM to 1 AM
◆ Guild League matches start every hour and half hour.
- If you apply at 2:15 PM, the matching will be complete at 2:30 PM, and the Guild League match will start once the opponent is determined.
* Entry to the Guild League is unavailable in certain regions. (Atoraxxion, Battle Arena, Old Moon Grand Prix, etc.)
* A guild member who has "Apply for Guild League" authorities can apply for matching.
* You can't apply for Guild Defender if fewer than 7 guild members are online; fewer than 14 for Defender Unit I, and fewer than 21 for Defender Unit II.
* You cannot apply or participate in the Guild League during Node/Conquest Wars and War of the Roses.
* A new Guild League season has begun, resetting previous match records, scores, and penalty counts.

  • Match Duration: 20 min
    - After the match is set, there is a 2-min waiting time to enter the Guild League.
    - There is a 1-min waiting time after the match ends, after which you will automatically exit the Guild League.
    - You can freely enter and exit the Guild League after the match starts.
Victory Conditions
  • Victory Conditions: Achieve 1,000 points or the guild with the higher score wins when the match ends.
    - If the scores are tied, the battle continues, and the first guild to score a kill wins.

 

  • Points Earned
    - The first kill awards 50 points
    - Every kill after awards 10 points per kill.
Revival
  • Each guild has one revival point at a designated location.
    - Upon death, characters will automatically resurrect without needing to press a revival button. After a brief period within the protective veil, they will be transported back to the combat zone.
    * There is no limit to the number of revivals.
    - If you are out of combat upon revival, you will be Invincible and have a Damage Reduction effect for a certain period.
    - Death penalties such as EXP decrease and crystal destruction do not apply.
Penalties
  • Accumulating 3 penalties leads to a 1-week ban from the league.
    - You will need at least 7 participants from your guild before a match begins or face immediate defeat and a penalty.
    - If your guild's participant count falls below 4, it will be considered a loss. The match will end automatically, and a penalty will be given.
Others
- If you exit during the Guild League, anyone from the same guild can step in for you.
* However, damage and debuffs recorded during the match are reset upon exit.
Guild members who joined the guild after matching cannot enter the ongoing match.
- The notification duration for consecutive kills is 15 sec.
- Equipment durability does not decrease during the match.
- Cannot use Escape within the Guild League battlefield.
- Consumable items can be used without limits, but Medical Kit cannot be used.
- Install items, such as Stun Trap and Cannon, and transformation items cannot be used.
- You are automatically assigned to a platoon when you enter the match and automatically leave upon exit.
- If you are already in a party/platoon, you can enter after leaving the party/platoon.
- Adventurers joining a guild as War Heroes will not be able to see the Guild League menu and will not be able to join as well.

Between Rock Post and Barhan Gateway lies the entrance to the desert, the Taphtar Plain, where Centaurus once roamed. Engage in battle in this vast wilderness.

This is Gyeongbokgung Palace, representing Seoul. Combat takes place in the wide square centered around Geunjeongjeon Hall.

Guild League - Rankings

  • Rankings in the Guild League are determined by the Guild League points obtained.
    • When the Guild League first starts, you start with 400 points..
    • When you win or lose in the Guild League, your score changes according to the result, and matches are made based on the score range.

Dormancy Penalty

  • If you do not participate in matches for a certain period within a specific score range, your score will be periodically deducted based on the score range.
3401 points or more Non-participation in a match for 5 days results in a 50 points deduction every 2 days.
2601-3400 points Non-participation in a match for 5 days results in a 40 points deduction every 2 days.
2001-2600 points Non-participation in a match for 5 days results in a 30 points deduction every 2 days.

For example, if you achieved 1,700 points and played your last match on Jan 1, but did not play for 5 days until Jan 6, ranking points will be deducted on Jan 8, which is 2 days later.

 


 

Guild League - Matching System and Score Brackets

  • The matching system for the Guild League is as follows:
1. Guild Defenders match with each other first.
2. Defender Units match with each other first, regardless of being Unit I or II.
3. If there are no opponents, Guild Defender can be matched up with Defender Units I or II.
4. Matching starts from the high score bracket.

Hardcore Server

  • Added the Hardcore Server rankings UI.
    • In the Hardcore Server ranking window, you can check the rankings based on total Survival Points, enemies defeated, and death counts accumulated in the Hardcore Server.
    • Ranking is refreshed each time an adventurer disconnects or is updated for all adventurers after being tallied for a certain time at midnight every day.
    • You cannot check your rank during the time when the ranking is being tallied at midnight every day.
      • Once the tally is complete, you can check your rank.
 
  • New "Mysterious Warriors" have appeared, wandering in search of adventurers in the Hardcore Server.
    • If you succeed in killing a Mysterious Warrior, you can obtain high Survival Points and rare gear at a set probability.

  • Changed the psyche summoned upon Alketa's defeat to use its skill when it gets closer to nearby monsters.

Guild Mission

The guild missions, which have long been contributing to the development of guilds, are being revamped. Before we introduce the improvements, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all the Adventurers and guild members who, by journeying together, have created precious memories and stories. We also extend our appreciation to the dedicated members who work tirelessly to ensure the guilds run smoothly.
 
The upcoming overhaul of guild missions aims to address the inconveniences Adventurers have experienced. We have adjusted the mission types and rewards to better suit the current context.
 
Most notably, you can now accept guild missions anytime, anywhere, regardless of the server. You can also review the records of accepted and completed missions, allowing for more systematic guild management. For missions requiring Fishing, Cooking, and Alchemy, the timer stops once the mission is done, letting you proceed with a lighter mind and give you some time to step away to do something else.
 
Additionally, subjugation missions, which were previously divided by monster zone type, have been changed to require defeating any monster. Collecting specific logs or ores is now simplified to common items like logs and rough stones, making participation in guild missions more accessible than before.
 
We hope these changes make your adventures with guildmates even more fun, and we'll keep working to help you create lasting memories with your guild.
  • Revamped Guild (G) - Guild Missions list for more convenience.
    • Changed the Guild Missions list to allow checking which server is hosting a Guild Mission, and whether it has been accepted or completed.
① Display the Guild Mission being accepted and the Family Name of the Guild Member who accepted it.
 
② Set a filter for missions suitable for your Guild to view its desired Mission List.
- Guild Mission in Progress: Check which mission is in progress on which server and move to that server if you wish.

  • Changed the Guild Boss Summon Scroll Piece used for summoning Guild Bosses as follows:
    • Simplified multiple Guild Boss Summon Scroll Pieces into one, allowing you to acquire unified piece by completing just one mission. 
      • Before: Obtain summon scroll pieces for Ferrid, Ancient Puturum, and Giant Mudster respectively.
      • After: Obtain the Guild Boss Summon Scroll Piece.
    • Adjusted the number of Khan Summon Scroll Pieces required for summoning from 5 to 4 to match other bosses.
    • Changed the icon for the Khan Summon Scroll Piece. 
    • All missions where you can acquire Guild Boss Summon Scroll Pieces can be found under the "Subjugation" category.

Arena of Solare - Hall of Fame

  • Statues of Adventurers who ranked first place for their classes in the Arena of Solare regular season have been erected in the Hall of Fame in the Battle Arena.
    • Interact with a statue in the Hall of Fame to obtain the "Blessing of a Great Knight" buff effect by consuming 20 Energy.
      • Blessing of a Great Knight: Breath EXP +10% for 10 hours
 

 

  • Changed the Mountain of Eternal Winter region on the World Map (M) to have snow.

 


 

Node & Conquest War

The balance of forts in Node Wars has also been updated in accordance with the class balance adjustments. With this week's Black Desert Global Lab update, stat limits for Node/Conquest Wars are set to be increased, which will bring changes to the Node/Conquest War Territory rotation and further adjustments to the balance of forts and annexes.
  • [Construction Node War] Increased the DP of Balenos/Serendia Node forts by approximately 4%.
  • [Construction Node War] Increased the DP of Mediah/Valencia Node forts by approximately 4.6%.
  • [Conquest Node War] Increased the Durability (HP) of Calpheon/Kamasylvia Node forts by 20%.
  • [Conquest Node War] Increased the Durability (HP) of Balenos/Serendia Node forts by 30%.
  • [Conquest Node War] Increased the DP of Mediah/Valencia Node forts by 20%.

    • Simplified the guide text that appears when hovering the mouse over the quest, as the NPC's location can now be found via navigation.
