◈ How to Re-use Artifacts

If you do not need the artifacts you obtained, you can convert them into Purified Lightstones, which you can use to obtain Lightstones.

How to Convert an Artifact → Purified Lightstone
- Use Simple Alchemy with Artifact x1 to obtain Purified Lightstone x1-2

◈ Rules for Copying Artifacts

You can use the item copy function on artifacts. When copying an artifact, any infused Lightstones will be copied as well. The rules for copying defense gear are applied to artifacts. There will be no costs for copying the items.

If you remove or replace the Lightstones infused on any artifact after copying it, it does not affect the copy held by the other character.

➤ You can read more about the tag system in the [Character Tag] page.

Lightstones and Imperfect Lightstones

◈ Lightstones

Lightstones are items that you can infuse into artifacts to get additional effects. The additional effects of Lightstones are applied when you equip artifacts that are infused with them.

Once the combination of the Lightstones infused into your equipped artifacts meets a certain condition, you can additionally get Lightstone combination effects.

Lightstones can be sorted into 4 main categories:

- Lightstone of Fire: Attack type

- Lightstone of Earth: Defense type

- Lightstone of Wind: Special type

- Lighstone of Flora: Life Skill type

Note on Lightstones

Lightstones infused on artifacts can get destroyed when your character dies with negative karma.
➤ You can read more about the Karma system in the [Karma and Naval Fame] page.

◈ Iridescent Lightstones

Alongside other lightstones, there is also the Iridescent Lightstone. Unlike the others, it is uncategorized and does not provide any individual item effect. However, it plays a role in certain combination effects when used with other lightstones.

Iridescent Lightstones have a low chance of being obtained when opening Purified Lightstones, and can also drop directly from the following sources:

Certain Lightstones can be obtained via quests or World Bosses as loot. They can also be bought/sold on the Central Market.

▲ Visit NPC Dalishain in any major city to purify an Imperfect Lightstone.

◈ How to Re-Use Lightstones

You can hand over three unwanted Lightstones for a Purified Lightstone via the NPC Dalishain in any major city.

Select the Lightstone option to start the process (This process does not cost any Silver).

▲ You will get a Lightstone according to a set probability that matches the Purified Lightstone used.

◈ Imperfect Lightstones

Imperfect Lightstones can be purified via Alchemy or an Alchemist and used to obtain Lightstones. You can obtain them via defeating monsters, Dark Rifts, World Bosses, Boss Summon Scrolls, guild raids, etc.

◈ How to Convert an Imperfect Lightstone → Purified Lightstone

You can use an Alchemy Tool in your residence to perform Alchemy with the following alchemical formulas if you are an Alchemy Guru Lv. 1 or higher.

- You can use it via the Artifact Inventory button on the bottom of the Inventory UI.
- The same items will be stacked and take up a single slot, which will enable you to easily check the quantities of a single type of item.
- You can use the filter on the bottom to look for fire, earth, wind, and special lightstones held in the inventory.
- You can store up to 30 Artifacts.

In addition, all players have access to 10 preset slots for creating different Artifact and Lightstone combinations.
To set up a preset, click the "Edit Presets" button, then select the slot you want to customize. Right click on the artifacts to add them to the preset, and rename it for easier identification. Once you are done, click "Save Preset". You can quickly equip any saved preset by clicking the "Equip" button next to it.
