Drieghan Monster Zones

Adventurers who have conquered the challenges of Valencia should be ready to brave the dangers of Drieghan. The grandeur of Drieghan has monster zones that fit the solemn and tense atmosphere of the territory.

 

Knowing all the specific accessories and magic crystals that drop at each monster zone in Drieghan is half the battle, so here are the major locations to look out for:

 

Blood Wolf Settlement – inhabited by the worshipers of the Crimson Dragon, Garmoth.
Tshira Ruins – the cursed land that overflows with poison and a vile stench.
Sherekhan Necropolis -- where the 5 brave Sherekhan warriors dwell.

 

Sherekhan Necropolis is significantly different during the day and night time as the <Guardian Spirit> elite monsters only appear at night. They are extremely powerful, even compared to other elite monsters you may have previously encountered. Another feature is that you can choose when the elite monsters will be summoned during the night. Make sure to be well-prepared for a tough fight before summoning them!

 

Additionally, as you battle your way through these three monster zones, be prepared to be ambushed by Garmoth herself at any time. She will appear in the skies above and bombard you with fireballs. At the location where her attacks have landed a chest will appear, and in it you will find rewards for surviving the encounter.

Tshira Ruins

The ruins are currently covered by an ever-expanding swamp. However, this place used to be a dense forest like the Khimut Great Forest long ago. The land became cursed when the heavily wounded black dragon spilled its blood here.
The area is now covered in ruins and the swamp overflows with poison. It is inhabited by all sorts of strange creatures and animals have become a rare sight.

1) Basic Information
• Mostly Lv. 56 ~ 59 monsters
• Melee: Leaf Keeper, Vine Keeper, Grove Keeper, Murky Swamp Caller, Tree Hermit, Tree Ghost Spider, Leaf Spider
• Ranged: Swamp Imp Bronks
• Others: Bronk's Hut, Venomous Swamp Nest, Bronk's Food Storage

 

2) Features
You can get daily quests from the node manager Leon who is researching dragons. The quests can be completed as you defeat monsters and you can get Marni's stones for this area.
Tshira Ruins is a large area that is densely populated with monsters that are evenly distributed throughout the map.
You can get the Eye of the Ruins Ring accessory which has AP +5 and Accuracy +2. If you enhance it, then it gains the added effect Max HP Increase.

 

Kvariaks
As you defeat monsters, from time to time, a system message will appear letting you know of the appearance of a kvariak, the brethren of the field boss Katzvariak. Go to the marked location, denoted by a lack of monsters nearby and the light pillar you will see there, and prepare yourself to fight against quite the fearsome foe. Kvariaks are a lot stronger than the normal monsters in the swamp, and will harass you with a mix of spear skills and area-of-effect venomous attacks.

Monsters will attack you from all angles, but do not let that startle you.
Most of them here are slow so just watch carefully and dodge!

3. Strategies


1) Precautions
Dodge the powerful attacks from Leaf Keeper, Grove Keeper, and Vine Keeper, and avoid debuffs.
Also, be sure to first take out the Swamp Imp Bronks that attack from range.
Be quick about getting away from the green energy that spews out of the Venomous Swamp Nest.
 
2) Key Locations and Route
You can start from anywhere in this monster zone and your route will still be efficient! The area is flat and easy to navigate.

5. User Density


It is a little easier than Blood Wolf Settlement but has a lot more monsters.
It is also a large area with fast monster respawn times which makes it an ideal location for Adventurers to come in groups.
You will always find others trying to get their hands on one of the pieces of the spirit essences.

 


Blood Wolf Settlement

The blood wolves, also known as the Kagtum tribe, worship the crimson dragon Garmoth and dwell in eastern Drieghan. They were wild wolves until recently, so no one knows how they developed their culture in such a short amount of time. True to form, the blood wolves are capable hunters who can approach silently and make quick work of their targets.
This has led to a constant, uneasy tension in the area as Drieghanese soldiers are constantly on high alert to send out signals or reports to survive.

• Others: Garmoth of Fury Statue, Traitor's Jail, Garmoth of Enchantment Statue
• Violent: Frenzied Kagtum

 

2) Features
There are monsters evenly distributed starting from the entrance by Night Crow Post and Marak Farm, and throughout the entire area.
There are plenty of daily quests to earn contribution experience and there are Marni's stones that can be used here.
Kagtum Submission Ring (stats: AP +5, Accuracy +2) drops here. It also has the Extra Damage against Monsters effect.

 

Kagtum Guard
When you break enough of the jails where the traitors to their kin are imprisoned, a Kagtum guard with a host of other blood wolves will appear to stop you. Make sure to be prepared for this eventuality, as otherwise you will be torn to pieces.

3. Strategies


1) Precautions
There is not a lot to look out for, it is just that you can get surrounded by blood wolves at any given moment. There is also the violent Frenzied Kagtum that you might run into on occasion. This huge monster will attack you non-stop with its extremely sharp claws so be careful.

 

2) Key Locations and Route
Routes start from the entrances by Marak Farm or Night Crow Post and connect all the way to where Titoku is located!

5. User Density


It is a little easier than Sherekhan Necropolis and has just the right amount of monsters.
As it is one of the closest monster zones to Duvencrune, it is an ideal location to stay in for a long period of time.
You can get the much coveted Ancient Ash Halfmoon Kagtunak here, one of the pieces of a spirit essence treasure.

 


Sherekhan Necropolis

The five warriors that were recognized by the Chenga Sherekhan – Belcadas, Nybrica, Garud, Lateh, Federik – are gathered here. They were all said to have died after the Great Battle, but when the crimson dragon was spotted flying over Drieghan, they returned.
The iron shield, the hammer, the sharp axe, the great sword, and the brave warrior that stood at the frontlines now domineer over this necropolis.

• Monsters are mostly around Lv. 60 ~ during the day and Lv. 65 ~ at night
• Melee: Garud, Nybrica, Lateh, Federik, Belcadas (Day Time)
• Guardian Spirit: Garud, Nybrica, Lateh, Federik, Belcadas (Night Time)
 
2) Features
The area is filled with the scent of birch, and monsters are spread out in groups.
Even though there are not a lot of monsters in this area, people tend to come here for the valuable piece of a spirit essence.
You can get the Orkinrad's Belt accessory that has AP +7, Accuracy +2, and Weight Limit +80LT. If you enhance it, then it gains the added effect Max HP Increase.

 

Day / Night
There is a difference between day and night. Once it hits 10:00 at night, the monsters that were spread out in groups disappear and a dreary energy starts to permeate the land.
At night you can get intense one-on-one fights against elite monsters. Each one has a tomb or grave in its weapon's shape: Garud', Nybrica's, Lateh's, Federik's, and Belcadas's. You can use 10 energy to interact with the tombs or graves to summon the guardian spirit elite iteration of these monsters, and they will appear one at a time.

Be wary of all five warriors, as every one of them is powerful.

3. Strategies


1) Precautions
It is important to keep your wits together in front of these 5 magnificent warriors and avoid getting debuffed. Their attacks covered in blue energy are particularly strong so you need to watch for those.
Then at night, the elite versions of these same monsters are even more powerful. So do not get ahead of yourself. Just summon and defeat them one at a time.

 

2) Key Locations and Route
There are clusters of monsters spread out right below the node manager of Sherekhan Necropolis.
You can also find a general goods vendor nearby, which makes this location very convenient.

5. User Density


This area is much tougher than Blood Wolf Settlement and Tshira Ruins, but the drops are worth the hassle.
Especially at night, the monsters become significantly stronger and the chance of them dropping better loot increases as well.
Adventurers who are confident in their equipment stats and control come here often.
You need to consume 10 energy every time you summon a <Guardian Spirit>, so prepare plenty of energy.
